This is Todd, an incredible 8-year-old boy.
At just 3 years old, Todd was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare muscle cancer. He faced countless rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy in Manchester, and numerous hospital stays, enduring things no small child should ever have to face.
With a strength that is hard to explain, Todd triumphed over this battle. He rang the bell to celebrate his victory, returned to school, and became a normal little boy again.
Unfortunately, Todd has now been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer. Doctors believe this new diagnosis is a consequence of the radiotherapy that once saved his life, as a tumour began growing in his jaw, right where he previously received treatment.
At Wheels For Wishes, we have rallied for Todd in charity events twice already, helping to raise funds for moments that create memories and smiles amid the unimaginable. Todd and his family have become very dear to our hearts.
Now, we are reaching out for help once more because this dream matters immensely.
This situation is no longer just about treatment; it’s about time, precious memories, and giving a little boy something magical to hold onto, while also providing his family with moments they can treasure forever.
Jade and Sam should not have to worry about finances while facing the hardest days of their lives. They deserve to focus on loving their son, laughing together, and making memories without the burden of costs.
